The Curwensville Public Library will commemorate its fortieth anniversary with a joint celebration with the Curwensville-Pike Township Historical Society, which is having its thirtieth anniversary, on June 14. Among the events scheduled in and around the library are a1870’s lumber camp cook display featuring camp fire doughnuts and tin cup coffee (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.), a display of historical artifacts, a children’s sing-along with singer-guitarist Mark Prave, a visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog and hot dogs, cake, lemonade and punch1 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
