Schlow Centre Region Library is looking for a Part-time Reference Assistant in the Adult Services Department. The successful candidate will provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and online to a diverse patronage of adults and young adults. Duties also include a variety of clerical tasks such as creating signage using Microsoft Publisher, updating the library's Drupal-based website, as well as other social media sites. The candidate may also be asked to teach basic computer or device classes and will refer matters to other staff as needed. Two years of college is required and one year of library experience is preferred. The position is 24 hours per week, Monday thru Wednesday 8:45-3, Friday 8:45-12, and every other weekend. It also includes earned sick time, personal time, and vacation time.
